"Collective Dreams is a series of work that I have been developing whilst living and working in China between 2017 and 2021, inspired by the repetitive transitions when returning 'home' and returning to my host countries. 

I had found that my sense of identity began to fracture, and I started to unpick this when sequencing the images together. The series explores diaspora, the concept of home, identity and dual realities through collaborative semi-staged fashion and documentary images. I aim to question the nature of collaboration and truth when creating images across language, culture and social boundaries.

I'm fascinated by mistakes in translation alongside differing perceptions of cultural differences, and my work has evolved into a response to these elements."
