Daido Moriyama - Record 54

While his wife and daughter went shopping in Kamiooka, a town just to the south of Yokohama, Daido Moriyama spent some time doing what he does best: walking around the area surrounding the station, crowded with people and tall buildings, with his camera in hand. The activity inevitably led him to a spot he always visits, a place he refers to as "oasis number three": a 50-metre stretch of narrow alley between the back of a store and the railway line, where a number of outdoor ashtrays draw congregations of smokers like himself. There he enjoys spending some time having a cigarette while observing the neighbourhood and of course also taking the occasional snapshot.
